​Project Management

  • Lead a 5-yr project (2014-2019) in the planning, implementation and completion of the Electronic Benefit Transfer (EBT) for the District's WIC program, totaling $20M in federal funds.

  • Lead the strategic planning for automating the Produce Plus & Senior Farmers' Market Nutrition Programs from 2014-2019.

  • Built marketing strategies with food retailers by utilizing a shopping app for WIC Participants who utilized electronic benefits. This innovation identified product selection & need for participants in food insecure communities.

  • Community Service Award in February, 2017 for teaching cooking/nutrition classes for gifted and talented students at the Whitehall Elementary School, Prince Georges County Public Schools, Maryland.

  • Awarded $100k from the USDA in 2013 for increasing Farm to School activities in 73% inner city Public Schools.

  • Co-wrote and received a direct certification grant from the USDA, totaling $1 million dollars in 2011 to replace a legacy system for public and private schools to capture student eligibility and reimbursement for meals.
